What changed
Until now a French prospecting base built itself by default: you called unless someone had objected. That is now reversed. A call has to rest on consent given beforehand — and it is the professional placing the call who must be able to show it.
The practical consequence comes before the legal one: a base assembled under the old regime cannot be updated into compliance. It has to be rebuilt.
Consent is a dated fact
It starts at a precise moment, it covers a precise scope, and it stops being valid. Those three properties are what the platform keeps.

- The consent can be relied on, and withdrawing it must stay possible at any time.
- At term
- It stops grounding a call. Not a status to correct — a fact that reached its end.
Recording who was connected to whom, and when, has been the telephone's business from the start. What changed in 2026 is not the need for the record: it is that someone may now ask you for it.
